Where are dial & Hide straps made?
Every strap is handmade in Nashville, Tennessee. Each one is cut, stitched, and finished by hand in small batches—no factory lines, no shortcuts, just honest American craftsmanship.
What kind of leather do you use?
We use premium vegetable-tanned Italian and American leathers. These hides age naturally, develop character, and break in like a good piece of gear should.
What is veg-tan leather?
Veg-tan is leather tanned the traditional way—using tree bark and plant extracts instead of chemicals. It starts firm, breaks in beautifully, and builds a hard-earned patina. It’s the kind of natural, durable hide we trust for every Dial & Hide strap.
Are the straps actually handmade?
Yes. Every strap is cut, stitched, edged, and burnished by hand. Small variations are part of the charm and proof that your strap came from a workbench, not a factory.
How long does it take to make a strap?
Most orders ship in 3–7 business days. If demand spikes, we’ll let you know—quality takes time, but we don’t keep you waiting in the dark.
Do the straps fit my watch?
If your watch uses standard spring bars (most do), our straps will fit. Just pick the correct lug width—18mm, 20mm, 22mm, and so on.
How do I care for my leather strap?
Keep it dry, wipe it with a damp cloth when needed, and condition it occasionally with a good leather balm. Over time, it’ll develop a patina that’s uniquely yours.
Do you accept returns?
If there’s an issue with craftsmanship or fit, we’ll make it right.
Where do you ship from?
All orders ship straight out of Nashville, TN.
